Ted Heath and Edmundo Ros - Swing meets Latin (1964)

The Orchestras of
Ted Heath & Edmundo Ros

Swing meets Latin

DECCA SLK 16 807-P

In 1964 "Swing-King" Ted Heath and "Latin-Giant" Edmundo Ros joined their orchestras and recorded the phase 4 album Heath versus Ros. The arrangements for this album were written in a way so that the orchestras could play together, but still maintain their own style. The result was a swinging latin album with the best recording technology for that time. Here we have the album with the German cover eventhough funny enough the title is still in English "Swing meets Latin". In 1967 they made a second volume.
