Mi Gran Amor (1971)
Polydor 23-85014
Spanish easy listening soundtrack composer who nearly won Eurovision a few times, and is the spitting image of Peter Sellers. By our ears anyhow, his best album would be "Mi Gran Amor" from 1971. Nonsense femme vox, fuzz, whirlachord organs, and Herb Alpert horns are all pressed into groovy service. Esquivel & Bacharach alike woulda been fatally jealous had this gentleman not been trapped under the wishy-washy thumb of Prince Juan Carlos.
